With variety of sizes to choose from, this wakeboard will cater for wakeboarders ranging from approximately 85lbs (40kg) right up to over 200lbs (90kg).  It is built with Hyperlite’s advanced Biolite 3 core making it a super lightweight board, ideal for carving through the water and crossing the wake.

Aggressive and Responsive

The Hyperlite Cryptic wakeboard is designed to give you fast speed across the water.  It’s a fully continuous rocker with a smooth uninterrupted curve, which is ideal for gaining maximum speed.  It cuts through the water easily, and with the variable edge design it’s a bit more forgiving with surface tricks and landing, but the sharper edge at the tip and tail allows for secure edging when needed.

As you approach the wake, it’s easy to generate and maintain your speed because the dual concave tunnels on the base of the board channel water past the fins.  This provides an aggressive approach and responsive edge hold and assists with edge cutting towards the wake.

Massive Pop off the wake

Generally, continuous rocker wakeboards don’t generate as much height off the wake but are ideal for sending you further out into the flats.  The Hyperlite Cryptic has a slightly wider profile which provides the rider with more power and control as they approach the wake and therefore, you get a little more lift off the wake so you can get further out into the flats.  The Hyperlite Cryptic wakeboard also has a variable thickness profile which means the weight has been kept as minimal as possible by trimming the profile at the tip and tail.

And when it comes to landing, the Cryptic has been designed with a subtle landing feature to make those landings smoother and easier to nail.
